Both master defensive tacticians and incredible skills however lacking the necessary power for knockout

Would be a fun fight. Byrd might be a bit quicker, but Young a better tactition, if that is even a word. Young would handle Byrde.Niether one would have a hair out of place though

I may be in the minority but I went with Chris Byrd by a close decision. Then again it would probably be an indecisive outcome no matter what happens

What a boring fight. I'll go with it being a draw or a Young UD.

Boring??? Two guys, twisting their bodies all different ways avoiding punches, then quickly countering, making faces at each other, Jimmy suddenly taking a walk? Oh no, thats not boring.

Young by KO, no question, but, as per usual, the judges will score it for Byrd, for no more than the reason that he'll punch Young more and it will go the distance, despite the fact that Young clearly should be awarded the KO.

You can not box with Chris Byrd when you are of Young’s dimensions, Byrd would be keeping it at range and doing his feints and changing laterally and frustrating Young, he wouldn’t have a clue what to do, he never fought a southpaw and had barley an amateur career, so he would not figure out Byrd’s style, Young’s style is boxing using his jab and can move, but that would not work here, he did not know how to apply effectively pressure and that is the only way to beat Byrd if you’re similar height to him, you have to have height and reach to be able to box with him

It can go either way, but there would be no KO, just a win on points.

Awsome post. Young isn't going to outbox Byrd and as you point out has never faced a southpaw like Byrd.
Now throw in Byrds speed and Young is going to have a long night.
