Byrd comfortable albeit boring UD. Ortiz is too slow to catch the slippery and elusive Byrd.

Prime Ortiz would dispose of him.

Maybe we will find out ,50 years old Byrd has stated he's making a comeback.

Byrd has also said his body is completely shot and that he smokes lots of weed to put up with the pain.

I wouldn't take the comment seriously in the slightest.

Hand speed was comparable. Both were slow movers on their feet... Ortiz will catch Byrd as Byrd tries to catch him. . Byrd gets caught too often whcih is why he wouldn't score enough points to win.
Ortiz can definitely beat Byrd if past prime Golota can. . Ortiz barely lost a round in his career. Byrd lost loads and to worse fighters than Ortiz. . Kong only lost to extreme power. Byrd has the power of a MW. .Ortiz walks through him like he did to the more athletic Jennings

Ortiz hadn’t beat anyone of note. Have to go with the proven fighter here. Not sure he beats Golata let alone Byrd.

Byrd couldn't deal with rangy fighters like Ortiz. Golota who was almost 10 years past prime would certainly lose to Ortiz. Prime version is a different story.

That’s a solid point. Still think his speed kills him though.
