    Two skilled southpaws, two fighters who started at lower divisions and accomplished a lot at HW.

    Best wins:
    Byrd - Vitali Klitschko, Tua, Holyfield (shot), McCline, Oquendo, Williamson, Castillo, Jimmy Thunder, Bert Cooper
    Moorer - Holyfield, James Smith, Botha, Bert Cooper, Jirov, Shulz, Vaugn Bean, Alex Stewart

    Moorer is bigger and has more power while Byrd has better speed and is defensive wizard.

    Who would've won?

    On the one hand, lackluster versions of either would lose but the best versions of neither would lose. But middling versions of both against one would be better than two lackluster versions. I think we can all agree on that.

    I could see Byrd winning by UD. Then again, MM was a banger and was a pretty good combination puncher in his prime. A pickem fight even though I think MM had the better career.

    Moorer via SD, he hit harder was more active and didn't have to worry much about Byrd's power.
