    I’ll take Byrd by a narrow decision. I don’t think Moorer faced any slick boxers at heavyweight.. at light heavy he faced Leslie Stewart who was schooling him before getting stopped in the 8th. Byrd lingered in there with some pretty big hard punching men and even managed to upset a few.

    To me the Moorer version up to the Foreman fight was sharper, in better shape and more motivated. I definitely favour that version over Chris Byrd.
