in a story on the main page it states byrd plans to fight on lmao cause god told him too .. god is a bad son of a ***** jack lmao
This is sad. I'm one of few persons here who tought going down to LHW wasn't a bad option for Byrd, since he had no future at HW. I also tought Byrd could be somewhat competitive at LHW. I was wrong about that. Anyways, he tried it, and it didn't work out, so he should just retire with good conscience. I just can't understand why he believes he can still make it now, let alone win a title. Why does he force himself to another loss? And he should stop about that bull**** about because God told him so, well if his last fight, in which he got injured, wasn't a clear sign, 'from God' if you will, to stop it then I don't know. Imo Byrd is just a stubborn bad loser using his faith as a pretext, but if he really believes that God wants him to fight on he's just a psycho.
SAD! I guess "God" wants Chris to get his ass handed to him again. Chris is not being a responsible father. If Chris keeps taking the shots he has been taking in his last 4-5 fights, he will be lucky if he will be able to even TALK to his kids (punch drunk) HEY CHRIS, Is that what god wanted as well? Retire!
He is going to get hurt and I hate to see that Byrd is a nice guy. He should get into commentating as he is very knowledgable.
The question is, at what weight? He has a better chin at heavyweight, no question about it, but he still gets his ass beat now.
He should be okay as long as he fights his fight and stop with the " walking people down " bull**** . that is not his game.
But do you see Byrd being able to fight for another belt? Its sad that he is becoming a journeyman. He should get into broadcasting where it is safe :good
Someone needs to tell Chris that God is not talking to him. He has pugilistic dimentia, and he's hearing voices!
