I've always felt that Usyk was a something of a modern day Chris Byrd with a similar style. Usyk is overall a more polished & a complete fighter, but Byrd was more slippery, had the quicker hands & the phenomenal reflexes. He could stand right in front of you & make you miss every punch. I feel that he could beat AJ and beat him DECISIVELY. Byrd struggled with big, tall technical boxers with power - just as we saw with the Klitschko's (Vitali was winning the fight handily before he quit). AJ fights the bill, and generally would be the type of opponent Byrd struggles with. However there's one catch. Unlike Joshua, the Klitschko's actually used their SIZE & STRENGTH to bully the much smaller Byrd. He was too small & too physically inferior to compete with them in that aspect and so he had major problems. I'd pick Fury to beat him for similar reasons, because despite him not being a big puncher, he'd use he size & weight to overpower Byrd. AJ would be trying to outbox and outmaneuver Byrd like he did with Usyk 2x, and that would only serve Byrd well and AJ terribly.
Don't get too carried away he had hard questionable fights with the likes of McCline & Golota and Wlad schooled him..
