    He probably thinks vitali ripped his own eye out too...bless his heart...he probably still has night terrors over little wladimir getting dumped on his head by Saunders too....what a rough life to feel this personally attacked about fights that happened 2 presidents ago

    Vitali's threw a lot of punches in round 9 and only had a 26% connect rate. I think he stressed his arm trying to knockout Byrd, who was just to cleaver and elusive.

    It was a clean win for the Byrd Man.

    Who says Lewis would have beaten Byrd? Styles make fights.

    Even without the Lewis bout, Byrd's resume is underrated. I think it would have been even better if Roy Jones and Lewis had agreed to fight him.

    Have to agree. I like Chris Byrd and his clever, gutsy style, but this guy is making him out to be the division bogeyman when it just t'aint so.
