You told us Lewis had problems with southpaws,I asked you to name all the southpaws he fought to justify your statement , you never replied.
The boxing public never had any interest in Lewis vs Byrd. Lewis vs Tyson 2 would make more money than Byrd vs Lewis 1.
So you can label people nut huggers but you can't answer my question? I'll repeat it . Since Byrd was nothing but a weak spoiler, name four or five fighters from the past forty years that moved up from 170 at any point and fought world class big men on a successful, consistent basis better since Byrd ?
There are two possibilities on that. Lewis might simply have concluded that Byrd would not be a big draw, but it is also possible that he was wary of facing a southpaw, as some champions have been. Either way, Byrd should probably have got a shot on meritocratic grounds.

I'm not arguing whether Byrd should or should not have gotten a title shot,Im saying he doesn't beat Lewis, and nobody wanted to see him try!

There was always a rumour that he struggled with southpaws. Again, why did Lewis fight Kirk Johnson in 2003. Byrd had a belt, was ranked higher, and had a bigger name than Johnson. The purse Lewis received for the Johnson fight was also low. Lewis simply didn't want anything to do with Byrd.
