Byrd. Moorer was a guy who was a pudgy disapointment. He eventually became an obese disapointment. Byrd was an overachiever. His style wasn't the most thrilling to watch. But you can't question his heart, work ethic, or willingness to fight the best.
Moorer for me a win over a prime Holyfield (heart issues were due to ped use so not a real excuse if your gonna cheat take the bad with the good) also was lineal champ rather then title holder. Excellent puncher his lead uppercut was brutal also think he'd beat Byrd.
Byrd wins over v klitchko holyfield mccline tua are better then moorers win over holyfield ..at the end of the day what else did moorer do at heavyweight
Byrd the much better fighter. Moorer much more exciting to watch, big puncher, weak chin. Byrd was just horrible to watch, couldn't break an egg. Very good chin though.
Both had good wins despite being the smaller /lighter men in there .Byrd had the better Chin whilst MM was the more exciting fighter .I'll lean towards Moorer ,he had the lineal belt .
Its byrds fault vitali hurt his shoulder and didnt want to fight anymore??!! Still aint over ol quitter giving up on you huh
