Valdez by stoppage. Colbert is too easy to hit.

Colbert fights valdez smart and outboxes the **** out of valdez.
That fight would look similar to the last two rounds of last nights fight.
Valdez has trouble with slick fighters that can move and are fast.
    Colbert is elite.

Not saying he would beat Valdez but power is overrated skills aren't. Remember that.

    First, let him fight Berchelt.

    Valdez should fight Rakhimov.

I like Colbert and he's a skillful boxer, absolutely massive for the weight, and he has fast hands but Valdez really brings the heat, throws a lot of shots, and he can bang and with only 6 KOs in 16 fights Colbert seems to lack genuine power. To be fair, Valdez has struggled badly a whole bunch of times and been dropped and hurt a bunch of times too. However, this is the Reynoso trained Valdez and he could've gone on that special meat diet since hooking up with them so you'd have to favour him going off his performance in his last fight against Berchelt where he did look very impressive. Colbert might beat Stevenson though because he's a soft hitter and it would come down to a battle of speed and skill.

Valdez stoppage or Colbert points. The loser gives their brigade of doubters some "ha! Told ya!" fuel and the winner gets to dampen the parade of his own.

If you haven't already perhaps you should take some reading and comprehension courses.

Maybe you should. You said he has nothing to fend off Valdez with. Which is why I made the comment.

Valdez has come into his own, I picked him to beat Berchelt.. he's become a brilliant little fighter, I'd favour him over weight grifter Colbert :)

Valdez was always a bit overrated and struggles with skilled boxers. He struggles with speed, a good jab and movement. Colbert is a horror matchup for him stylistically. Saying that Valdez has other things working in his favor and Colbert never really faced adversity in the ring. Valdez would be the first guy who brings the heat and wants to brawl with him. So i can see Colbert losing it under pressure in the exact same way Berchelt lost it and so many other guys lost it in the past against Valdez. Adam Lopez also did well early on against Valdez but crumbled under pressure and was stopped despite boxing smart and winning rounds before that.

Leaning towards Valdez TKO late but Colbert DEC wouldn't be a shocker. I think Colbert would win a lot of rounds. Question is if he can do it for 12 rounds without getting hurt. Tough fight to predict but a nice clash of styles. I'd appreciate it if somebody forces Colbert to fight. He's another guy who has tremendous skills but is horrible to watch and boring as **** so yeah...i would love to see that matchup.
