Colbert certainly has sufficient speed and mobility--not to mention the defensive mindset--to make life very frustrating for Valdez.

I can see Valdez winning an ugly affair in which his offensive aggression/initiative gets the nod over Colbert's ring generalship/defensive prowess despite neither landing much in the way of clean punching. Alternatively I can see the judges doing the reverse.

If Colbert decides to get on his horse and rarely engage, however, I don't think Valdez possesses either the speed or the skillset to catch him with something big.
