If Carl Thompson wasn't putting him away, no non-heavy was. The way he performed against Thompson leads me to believe he'd have won the first 4-6 rounds against a fat Toney.

How would Eubank have done against Samuel Peters, Rahman, and Holyfield at HW?

He'd have done well against Holyfield. Against the big guys, he might need anabolic steroids and layers of fat to hold him up.

Remember, Eubank sparred hundreds of rounds with Herbie Hide and never went down on the rare occasions he was hit. On the flip side he had Hide on his knees a few times.

Chris has been singing the same nonsense ever since his career took off; the truth is his success was based on his strong punch, speed , chin and will to win, not to mention the way he managed to boil down to lower categories, so he wouldn't have to face men of his own size.

He was a puncher masquerading as a boxer, and all his greatest successes are due to the cited above qualities, not his boxing skills.

I, see you conveniently forget chris poor balance due to sloppy footwork eh! He is seriously delusional chris is, something he does not quite understand himself. Incidentally, his surname is eubanks, not eubank. ITS A JAMAICAN NAME!!

Theres no such thing as a Jamaican name.

Pretty much all Jamaican names came from Britain.

    It is undoubtedly atberry... watch..:yep

    Roy Jones > James Toney

    Joe Calzaghe > Chris Eubank

I don't care about weight excuses, they are professional fighters that are paid to fight at the weight, greats rise above weight problems..

These are not fantasy fights, and in my opinion, Jones and Calzaghe dominated enough to make me believe they would always win these fights...

    Just your opinion..

Roy proved he was better than James Toney in the ring, I don't care about triangle theories on fights that never took place.

It's a solid fact. McCallum won the first four rounds by miles against Jones Jr when he was fat and in his 40s. Imagine the lean and mean McCallum of 6-10 years prior, in there instead.

Jones Jr officially ducked Nunn. Was stripped of the WBC title for doing so. Nunn had hands, feet and reflexes all pretty much as fast as Jones Jr while being significantly taller and rangier, feet always on the canvas and balanced at all times (Jones Jr leaped in and out half the time), and a million light years smoother and more flowing than the unorthodox, flawed Roy, AND a southpaw!

The way Nunn just stood right in front of Toney and completely outboxed him with skill was far more impressive than Jones Jr against Toney just potshotting and ducking and diving and running around.

Nonsense. Toney ate himself out of the fight.

Still just your opinion... If Toney could knock Nunn out then so could Roy... I bet you wouldn't think Roy could knock Malinga out, and you would be here preaching about Malinga's superior defense, but we saw what actually happened.

And you think Body Snatcher was beating Roy by miles? What are you smoking? Besides, they are friends, and I always thought Roy took it easy on him. Still doesn't prove anything.

And please clarify, was Jones stripped for not fighting Nunn, or was that when he vacated with plans to fight Buster Douglas?
