Chris Eubank JNR Rehydration Clause

Hearn, Matchroom and Benn have no shame if this is true. I presume there was no rehydration clause for Benn too. However, I'm not sure how legit this video is.

Eubank and Liam Smith is a big fight on Sky Sports that will sell out an arena and makes sense to happen next.

 

Watched an interview with Kerry Kayes recently regarding rehydration clauses, in general. The timing of the weigh in regards rehydration is more critical, than the actual rehydration weight limit. The more time the fighter has to replenish after the rehydration check weight, the better off he is. Makes sense really.

 

I always knew he'd be on weight. The 60% mind games was a fun angle to push.

 

Makes zero sense. What does jr get from that?

the rehydration was set at 10lbs. 167lbs maximum.


His best move is either wait for Benn for the money. Make GGG or if GGG vacates get a belt

 

The same CEJ that said he never spoke to Conor and trolled the whole time yes. The board wouldn’t have permitted that rehydration.

Either a dummy scale or Chris cut that extra few without the fight in place to prove a point

Absolutely nobody has ever come out and said the rehydration is ten pounds, that's a fact

The best I've seen is Eddie Hearn flat out refusing to say what it was. Which shows how bad it must be. Then after being pushed on numbers, kugan says could it be as high as 8 pounds, Eddie laughs and says no before quickly moving on. So if it's lower than 8, it's definitely not 10.

I think what happend is that they added into the contract nobody was allowed to speak publicly about the rehydration (as it was so shameful) hence why you couldn't get a straight answer from anyone including Eubank himself

This is a clever way of Eubank showing us what the rehydration actually was. Which makes sense he would do because he's mad bes been had over and lost all that money

3 pounds rehydration is unheard of. What an insane stipulation that team Hearn come up with, plus getting their fighter juiced up to take on this severely dehydrated man. It just stinks and shows what that lot are all about

 

Have to admit that he has handled this week with a lot of class and I've no doubt has improved his image to the general public massively. Probably will have more fans than if he would have won the fight and Benn's test wasn't made public.
