    Is there another sport in the world where missing weight by a few grams gets you fined more than failing 2 drugs tests?

    Seriously somebody needs to step in and get rid of the clause

    I asked above how far does it go into calculating the weight? If someone weighed in at 160.00000001lbs they are still technically over a limit.

    I imagine the rules for allowances will be contractualised but 0.05lbs is OTT given the slight discrepancies that can happen with weighing scales. Had he been 0.04lbs would it have been rounded down?

    Eubank has been done up here.

    He and his team are stupid for accepting these weight terms in the 1st fight and then again in the 2nd fight. I don't get it. It doesn't take a genius to say no to any of these terms. Why aren't any of these thickos able to do this?

    I agree. Chris had the bargaining power after the failed tests and I’ve no idea why he didn’t make the fight at a 163 catchweight.

    Presumably Turki paid him an absolute fortune and the lion’s share of the split.

    Yep but Nappa his manager could have easily got rid of those weight clauses in the bout agreement regardless of the money being paid. It smacks of incompetency from Eubank and his team.

    Even the amount of fine per 0.05lb overweight is ridiculous

    That Nappy manager he's running around with is a joke.
