CEJ came across very well in this interview. Whilst the interviewer is clearly a fan, I thought on occasions he was too intrusive with some of his questions in areas that Chris clearly didn’t want to discuss.
Let's not start putting interviews down for asking probing questions when 99.9% of people barley dare to ask even basic questions. Boxing needs it. I think they know each other quite well to be honest, Bartlett clearly knew his brother
I'm surprised people are still going on about this. I didn't have much interest in it and only saw a small portion of the highlights. Two British level boxers (fairly mediocre) unable to remotely wobble the other and it's hailed a classic. Very odd.
Im all for interviewers asking probing questions, but it wasn’t boxing related. It was the bit when he was asking about external factors affecting the build upto the fight. Chris clearly didn’t want to go there yet the guy kept pushing.
Benn was clearly wobbled in the 12th. Whatever level you think the fighters are at, be it elite, area, British, European, journeyman. A good fight is a good fight.
Countless times down the years I've texted my mate saying "great scrap on Channel 5 just now" and neither of us had any idea who the fighters were. Entertaining boxing doesn't have to be top level, it's all about the event and the effort.
It was like a womens fight by the end when they were blowing out their arses windmilling away with 0 power
