I want to like him but he's a thoroughly unlikeable person. He does his dad's aloof act but without the charisma or humour.
And this is based on what exactly? The elite fighters Eubank Jr has already knocked out or Golovkin's habit of being knocked out?
There is something about this dude that makes me think he will make it. The way things are going people are already talking about him and before you know it, he'll be fighting for a title like his father and people will be wanting him to lose. People love to see villains lose.
I have to agree with some of these comments. I think some people play the bad guy but CEJ seems to be a horrible ****. Not that theres anything wrong with that but I don't think its an act. His dad was a showman CEJ isn't. Also why call guys out if you're not going to step up. Wastes everybodies time. Saying that, I think physically he has what it takes to be more than domestic level. Its his heart I'm not sure about. I think he is a better boxer than BJS but I think BJS would rather die than lose to CEJ. I would have thought he needs to fight a Ryder or a Blandamura before he goes in with BJS just for the experience. It seems his dad wants to go the showman route and step over a level to get a bigger fight, time will tell but that might be his undoing.
Have you heard Eubank Jnr talk? He is not a villian, he is very focused and actually likable. People judging boxers for how they pose in a ring are idiots.
Call him what you want but he already has that Eubank kind of negativity around him that makes people want him to lose. Personally I have nothing against him and quite like him. He will go far.
