This. Eubank is good to watch but his dad is flushing his career down the toilet.

 

No point talking about Canelo and Golovkin if he's staying at 168.

If he's going back to 160 then fair enough, but he needs to beat a word class opponent first. His opposition has been getting worse since the Saunders fight.

doesnt come as a suprise....hearn and loeffler needed a scapegoat as they would have been killed for outright saying they were trying to make ggg/brook....hearn will be doing eubank a favor or two down the line....

remember when berto/shane mosley was signed and floyd and pac were supposedly trying to make a fight? and then pac bailed and made the clottey fight? so floyd was left with nothing ...but al haymon got berto to pull out of shane fight so floyd could have shane.....and they threw berto a bone giving him a floyd fight down the line.....hearn wont do something on that scale...but he will throw eubank some bones...couple extra 100k here and there for domestic level fights....

when plan A doesnt sign by a certain point you move on to plan b if you dont have a signature....but for some reason loffler decided to keep waiting and waiting on eubank(which goes against the practice loeffler has noted)till the last minute? and pooofff!! brook/ggg was the only option left? how convenient!

Eubank snr and his wife, who is heavily involved in negotiations ****ed the fight up. You won't believe me but im telling you a fact.

 

I actually think Eubank Jr has potential to be a big star, he's young and strong and has good skills.

But you need to look at this objectively. He's clearly getting some bad career advice, his last decent fight was in Feb 2015. What was the point of fighting Jeter, O'Sullivan, Blackwell, Doran, and Quinlan? Those guys are all at least a level below him, it's a complete waste of time. He should be gunning for BJS rematch, Jacobs, Lemiuex, GGG, Charlo, etc., and if he can't get those, then at least fight guys who are beyond British level.

So clearly something is wrong on the promotion / management end, and given Hearn's success with AJ, Bellew, Brook, etc., the only logical conclusion is that it's Eubank Sr to blame, as basically everyone in the boxing world has stated.

 

Your theory has been proved false, Hearn has just said he's not doing Eubank Jr any favours while Sr is still in charge.

Please do yourself a favour and drop that ridiculous theory. Honestly, Eubank has fought Jeter, O'Sullivan, Blackwell, Doran, and Quinlan in the last two years and a bit, that's a terrible list of opponents and he's clearly not managing his career well.

 

i think you are overselling the work it takes to move guys like aj, bellew and brook...and lets no pretend like brook was wildly successful pre golovkin...brook wasnt making a ton of money...joshua sells itself really as well

Still, Hearn does get his fighters title shots. It's up to them whether they look good and become stars, but Hearn does get them the big world title fights.

Everyone else in his stable who is ready for a shot got one. Just not Eubank Jr, he's been mucking around with the EBU MW title and the IBO SMW title, neither of which are worth anything on the world level.

 

Lol, Hearn's word is not gospel, but there are no indications he's doing anything for Eubank Jr, he deserted them and now says he won't help them again.

 

They wanted to change alot of massive details in the contract they had negotiated and agreed to before. If you think they hadnt been in talks for a while then youre an idiot.
