Just seen Eubank has activated rematch clause, personally i cant see what he can do differently ? I dont buy the elbow stuff , maybe be a bit more defensive ?

I think he's done at the weight so not sure how he expects to win. He can't win fights at a good level boxing like he did with his chin in the air and he can't go back to trying to overwhelm people with volume.
e did OK Vs Smith but you always felt Smith was going to have his moments Eubank never looks comfortable too much movement and eventually got cought. He was hurt before the left hook went in so I don't but the elbow excuse.

Activating the clause sounds so dramatic, like there's a console that's hidden under his floor, when he moves a statue (probably of himself) it emerges from the depths, a single flashing button in the centre alongside two slots where he can insert a key and turn it in unison with Eubank Snr as an impersonal mechanical voice repeats the words.

'REMATCH CLAUSE ACTIVATION IN PROGRESS. ALL PERSONNEL TO THEIR STATIONS.'

we can only hope nobody touches him with their elbow as he pressed the big activation button, he'll be all over the place if they do. I have to back Eubank, fighting on the mean streets of Brighton via private school You don't know what it was like being chauffeur driven to school. Man's a ghetto soldier.

The warrior clause. Never in doubt from the sanguine youngster.

It's naive of us to even doubt the young parliamentarian.

I think he gets stopped again.

His whole in-ring persona was built around being a super fit, rugged and iron chinned... I don't think he belongs at the weight anymore for starters and after Smith bingo'd him last time around I'm not sure he'll have that same confidence in his punch resistance.

Looking forward to the rematch, it should be a real war and hopefully more value for money this time.

I'm interested to see what the odds are, as I'd imagine Smith will go in as a slight favourite and with Eubank at odds against I'll be having a punt.

Wish it wasn't happening as it's just holding Liam Smith up. Eubanks only chance is throwing everything into it early as Smith is too fit for him over the distance.

I think we will see a different Eubank to be honest and get the win, all the messing around with his weight during the Benn farce more than likely took its toll on him, if he brings himself down right he should be ok and get the win.

I wonder if the rematch will be under Queensbury or will it be Muay Thai rules again?

I think Eubank Jr. has been physically destroyed by the whole process leading up to the Conor Benn fight and I find it hard to see a return fight going any differently than their first meeting.

I clearly remember the pictures of Eubank Jr where he looked like a KZ prisoner from an old Eastern European prison camp. Unfortunately, I think it has ruined him as a boxer.

Why on earth did he get to have a rematch clause!? He was certain of the win wasn’t he? Why on earth should there be a rematch when somebody is destroyed early in a fight like that. Oh yes, because his name is Eubank. Even when he’s well and truly found out he’s still getting favours.

As Moog said holding Smith up who can earn just as good money elsewhere. I don’t think too many will be itching to see the fight again except Eubank’s weird cult like following 99% of whom don’t know the sport and are coming up with all sorts of excuses.

I have a feeling he’s doing this to save face then will pull out with an injury when an opportunity of fight at Super middle or whatever comes up. I hope Smith wasn’t joking about making him have the fight at 157lbs. That’s fairer than Eubank having a rematch clause and him not for the first fight.
