What do you think about this guy. Son of Chris Eubank Sr. Trained by him and Roger Mayweather.

He is defensive master, with extremely fast hands and very calm and confident dangerous game.

In 1st round he basically stood in one place and avoided all shots, without even trying to paunch opponent.

17 wins, 12 KOs so far

Joe Billy Saundres is another british amateur talent. He Koed Jarrod Fletcher in 2 rounds. And is going to meet Chris Eubank soon.

Too early to say about Eubank jr. He may not Winn a British title, or he may progress well beyond that.

As for BJS...he is a beautiful boxer to watch in full flow. But he has a few problems. Primarily ...despite the flattering and misleading "ko" of jarrid fletcher, Billy joe totally lacks power.
Also he seems to have a bit of an attitude problem, putting out videos where he acts like a tough guy calling out Eubank jr. Not world champs, not European champs, not Macklin, Lee, Murray, but a guy way below himself in the domestic rankings. Strange.

He also doesn't appear to be a seriously prepared world class athlete indicating a certain lack of discipline.

But he is blessed with exceptional silky smooth boxing skills and slick speed etc.

I watched some tapes of both guys. Eubank Jr is better boxer for Professionals than Billy Joe. HE is very economical. I think Saunders will not able hit him cleanly in their match and becoming tired after 3th round. Chris Eubank can be future of middleweights, with his animistic style

So far Eubank has literally been in with Bulgarian street sweepers. He hasnt even fought any solid journeymen. Its very easy to be defensive and economical when nothing is coming back at you.

Saunders does have relatively light hand, but is very talented. Yes the Fletcher stoppage was as British as it comes. (still anyone wobbled in 2nd rnd by Saunders has no business in with GGG like the WBA tried to do) Saunders is talking about Eubank though because Eubank was trash talking him hard first. So hes just telling him to put up and fight if he wants to run his mouth.

Saunders himself admits he isnt ready for the top of the division yet (GGG) and is still fighting regional level fights so if he wants to face a guy who runs his mouth about him, I dont see any larger issue.

By many accounts, Eubank Jr clearly got the better of Froch in sparring. He also knocked down Groves a total of eight times in their many spars, and wouldn't let DeGale or Cleverly off the ropes (breaking Cleverly's ribs). Chad Dawson could hardly lay a glove on Eubank Jr at the Top Rank Gym when Jr was still a baby.

    Interesting.

When you put up your Union Flag tinted shades, completely forgot about the likes of Golovkin and Korobov and expect the other bigger names to retire, I can see them "rule" in the future :!:

BJS does not believe in his own heart that he is or capable of being world class. He stated that GGG would beat him and Eubank Jr on the same day. Thats an interesting attitude to have, it might be true but to be a world champion don't you have to believe you are the best or can be?

Clearly got the better of froch? you judged that off a 1minute clip?
    Knocked down Groves 8 times?

You're talking like it's fact... sounds like rumoured nonsense to me! :patsch

Eubank JR doesn't even seem to be very highly rated in the British Forum over here.

Sometimes thats a good thing, fighters who sometimes fly too high ultimately get their wings clipped and cant get back up again.
