Chris Eubank Jr, Canelo, and BJS...who has MOST to lose fighting GGG

I think ggg has the most to lose out of the 4.

Let's assume that all 3 have signed to fight GGG.

All 3 make their entrance into the ring, and all 3 fight well, but the inevitable happens and the referee raises GGGs hand in victory.

BJS would likely earn close to 3.5 mil, taking his first loss, most likely by KO, and his record would drop to 24-1, age 27.

Jr would earn close to 2 mil, assuming GGG went to the UK and fought on Sky PPV, and he would suffer his second defeat, likely by KO, and his record would stand at 23-2, age 27.

Canelo would likely earn in the neighborhood of 30 million assuming he accepted the proposed 83/17 split and the fight held at Cowboys Stadium and broadcast on HBO PPV. His record would fall to 47-2, also likely being stopped or having a corner retirement, RTD. He would be 26 y/o.

IMO, the one with the most to lose would be BJS.

While he'd certainly earn a career best payday, he'd have only domestic level paydays awaiting without his title, and only after GGG moved N, would he and Eubank Jr have their rematch, and that of course is assuming Jr wouldnt follow GGG N for bigger fights himself.

Canelo could make a fast comeback, fighting the likes of Heiland, Cotto, Bradley, or CEJ and get fast tracked back into a MW title fight the moment GGG tosses them out with the trash to begin his assault on the SMW division and his pursuit of Andre Ward at 170+.

CEJ could also make a fast comeback. His father does a very good job in the media excusing his son's ring errors, and could easily spin the KO loss as inexperience, and singular mistake of taking his foot off the gas, or being too aggressive, etc etc etc.
Jr could also be fast-tracked back into the title mix thru the Euro/British circle, knowing full well that even if he were to lose to GGG, he wouldnt lose his standing on the domestic level, and a big domestic dustup with BJS would still earn him good paydays.
Also, he could win the EBU title and like Canelo, fight for one of GGGs vacated titles.

All 3 are young, but IMO, Saunders has the shortest shelf-life and while Canelo is probably the most well rounded and peaking fighter of the 3, BJS doesnt have the team behind him to fast track back to the top.

Good points.

Yes, it would be Billy. He's undefeated, he's a MW world champ, and if GG beat him and Jacobs, Billy wouldn't be able to fight anyone else for a belt, as GG would own all of them. If he lost decisively without anyone clamouring for a rematch, he'd be completely frozen out.

Canelo and Eubank's circumstances are very different.

Eubank would have the least to lose.

Canelo wouldn't have as much to lose.

He hasn't got a belt, he could claim he was never a true MW, and he's much more popular and would have an easier comeback trail back to the top.
