Tibbs said he didn't get the reaction he wanted from BJS when he was questioning him after R8.

    “Anti-social weirdo”

**** off, I’m looking forward to getting the opportunity to tamper with you from a satellite, we’ll see how well you handle it when you have to walk away from everything and everyone with no end in sight. I’ll make sure carers rates at the mental hospital are very affordable, either that or I’ll start offering free funeral services.

What’s the difference? Being beat into submission, your corner pulling you out and quitting are all the same. His corner asked him a question and they did not like the answer he gave so he quit because he wanted out.

His bloody face is caved in for goodness sake. That looks like a really badly broken orbital socket. You can't continue with a face that's caved in. One more shot on that and not only was there a very real chance of his career being over but he very easily could've gone blind. Imagine what would've happened if Clenelo landed another huge bomb on it which the chances of happening were much higher given how he couldn't see out of the eye or at best had very limited vision out of it.

The body language from BJS confirmed he wanted no more....words were not required. His comments following Dubois defeat to Joyce become more ammunition for his haters to jump on him

Serge you are a very fair person. Perhaps he needs to be careful with his crass comments then. He was on social media uttering despicable crap when Joyce stopped Dubois. I am not saying he should have carried on but he left himself open to criticism with his previous comments. Also I felt all along that Canelo and Eddy Reynoso wanted to leave their Mark on him for his disrespect and conduct towards them. I certainly don’t want him blinded or permanently disabled but let’s reflect on the context is all I am saying.

He does need to watch his crass comments and he is guilty of not thinking before he speaks and crossing the line sometimes and I'm not defending that. I vehemently defended both Brook and Dubois when they suffered broken orbital sockets and it genuinely makes my blood boil when people go in hard on them for putting their sight and health first. Hell, I've defended fighters for quitting for far less than that. But my point here is you simply cannot fight on when your face is caved in like that. That looks like the worst orbital break I've seen and it would've been criminal had he been allowed out to even fight for even another 20 seconds. It's not even an option. The fight is over at that point and anyone who allows someone to continue with a face that's caved in and who cannot see out of the eye should not be allowed to hold a licence, whether it's the trainer, the referee or the ringside physician.

BJS is a ***** but I have no problem with his team ending the fight. It was a nasty shot from Canelo and instantly stopped any chance of BJS drawing or sneaking the fight 7-5. Fair stoppage, no issues here.

Let's be fair, BJS has talked a lot of smack about other fighters, CEJ doesn't like the bloke and wants that fight, of course he's going to laugh at him.

For those talking about BJS won, let's be honest and say it was an incredibly close fight that should go again.

If you and I were judges and this was a legal case brought before us to decide and give a judgment after reading your words above my own written judgment would read as follows:

"Further to reading the eloquent elucidation provided by my learned colleague Serge Esq. I have nothing further to say other than I AGREE."
