Chris Eubank jr. is a "chip off the old block"........just like camacho jr??

Take the head gear off and 16oz off to 10oz. And that's a fight, at least thats how his spars looked like. Yes some adjustments are needed from a spar to a fight of course, but he's had 18 fights you know. And yes Ive seen many other pros sparring footage and Eubank seems to spar as hard or harder than most I've seen.

What if eubank's "intermediary" level is where saunders' level is at. thought about that? It's all relative aint it?

Also, I don't see a knockdown or point deduction phasing someone like eubank. Cuts can trouble anyone, depending on the severity, but once again I dont see him losing control just because of a cut. Not in his character. You can't simulate everything, are you going to keep your fighter from stepping up until he gets cut, is knock down or have points deducted? That's not realistic either, you know.

 

Someone asked 'how is Eubank Jr better than senior'? In my view, he is faster, less stiff, better footwork (still a weak spot), he seems at least an equal in terms of mental strength but we will see.

About all these fights Eubank Jr hasn't had and BJS has. Couple of things - firstly, I think people may be over-stating the quality of BJS opposition and BJS himself if they try and cast the whole thing as Eubank being totally unproven, in against some world-class kid with world class fights. The difference between opposition isn't that vast, seeing as none are fully-fledged Euro level, never mind 'world'. I just think people are making too much of it.

Secondly, on fights in general. As a fan this is easy to forget, but money is involved here. The minute you try as a matchmaker to make a fight for Eubank Jr, you'll see every potential opponent add an extra zero or two to their fee. To some extent this forces you to bolster your focus on quality sparring, you cannot pay career high paydays to all comers beyond a certain point or else you will run out of money. That said, as above, I really don't see that much of a gulf - let's say both have had 20 fights, then three-quarters of fights for each have been against similar opposition with BJS facing better people in the last three or four.
