Anyone who's spent significant time in Mayfair can attest to the above. He doesn't dress as he dresses to put anyone on. If there's a reason beyond personal aesthetic sense of self and how his attire makes him feel, it's that he loves attention. If your eyes meet his in passing and you don't stop to talk to him, he looks visibly deflated. Guy was/is an original, though, and tough as nails. Can't take that from him.
A few years back I couldn’t stand Eubank BUT I have to say I’ve grown to like him. Once you can accept it’s an act that he plays up to and is “playing the game” you can kind of appreciate it. Plus whether you consider him a bit crude or limited, you have to admit that he’s tough, let’s his hands go and always comes to fight / puts on a show. The spine buster on Degale will forever live on in the memory lol
And so it goes... Williams was the better man once he got warmed up, but he'd given himself a mountain to climb prior to that. Even when he started getting the better of rounds, he wasn't dragging his man into trench warfare, Junior still had breathing room enough to keep up the stylistic shuck and jive, though Williams must've known he'd likely need a (T)KO by that point, with knockdowns in three of the first four rounds against him. Eubank was making the Diet Roy deal work early on, but this was a fringe contender bout, it won't do much for him at higher levels.
I've met Eubank Jnr and he come across as a really nice bloke to be fair to him. He took time to have photos with all of my friends and I. His dad not so much if anyone wanted a photo he would say ok, just don't touch my suit. Its part of a character and it make you want to watch him, be that to see him lose or to win it puts bums on seats.
Gullible or what? He clearly loves himself and only hams it up to get sausages like you onside who were ripping him for years.
Yeah I've come full circle on him ever since celebrating his first loss to BJS when I was highly anti Eubank, he comes across as a good bloke whereas Saunders I would cross the street to avoid.
