Good point. The prob the eubanks have is they think they are 1 world class. 2 popular 3 that other fighters and promoters should bow down to the in demands TBH prob tell most my post I am not ther biggest s fans and like most the same way I am with Khan or smiths or bellew I watch fights rooting opposition certain fighters I like and others I don't everyone be Same and different opinions. Anyway. The prob Eubanks hav is taht although Arthur Abraham is older and past it he is by far best name on his record bar bjs who he lost. To. I would actual applaud him takin this fight even tho he is older still step right direction but it is not Ppv Even a massive undercard and who wants fight his undercard he barely even gave quinlan a penny. The Eubanks r unrealistic in all they do. In this sport to make big cash fights u need take risk. Even mayweathe back day a lot thought he lose to de la Hoya he didn't get near cut he did but his gamble paid off. Even smaller examples is Khan Prescott Prescott no one knew prob paid penny's kos khan and his next few fights he could earn sum decent money . People want 50-50 fights or 60-40 not the 99-1 Eubanks been offering. Even Abraham tonne 70-30 in jr favour but least it's a name. If does not fight. A "name " bacj domestic even u James got lose sum love for ur boy
Good fight. Obviously Abraham is way past his best but it's a good name for Eubank to have on his record and can help legitimise the IBO title. Expect Eubank to win on points and hopefully he then takes on the biggest fights like Degale and Groves.
Not sure anything can legitimise ibo as a belt. Always be wba wbc who ibf. None this super titles pish etehr
Well yeah the IBO as an organisation will never really be seen as legitimate as the others but at least if Eubank is fighting big names it makes it seem like he is more of a world champion. It should be more about who you beat not the title you hold.
Abraham, despite being clear past his best, is a pretty good opponent for Eubank Jr. I expect the Eubanks to portray this as some sort of all-time greatness "legacy fight" though, if it happens.
In the side by side press photos. Eubank looks head and shoulders bigger than AA. Good fight and while AA is past his best he is still durable and has a dig. He also knows what he's doing in there basic though he is. He's also coming off 3 against fair opposition so it's by no means a gimme
I'm definitely going to have a bit of a punt on Abraham but my head does say Eubank on points. He's got a great jab but that peaky a boo type high guard will just invite Eubank right up close to throw a lot of eye catching combos although I suspect most will hit arms and gloves, he'll get the home decision. Abraham's has got a whopping right hand though so he might have a bit of joy with that. I'm dreading the gloating and self delusion from Eubank after this fight.
too right i'd happily pay a premium for a PPV option that edited out everything from the moment the cards were read and which then auto-filtered my social media accounts for any tweet, post, thread, announcement, advert, or what have you--either by Sr or mentioning Sr on the other hand, how can Sr top the PR hyperbole following the Quinlan fight ("my son is now a world champion" (sure but 'ibo'?)....then 24 hours doesn't pass before him and begin calling out the likes of Dagale, GGG, et al..., obvioiusly what you were referring to)
