I think a lot has to do with the potential people see in Eubank jr and also how well he's done in sparring against top guys like Carl Froch.

I think Eubank Jr has improved a lot from what I've seen in his last 4 fights. He was too wild, and would find himself out of position but now he's a more composed fighter. Better footwork and balance making less prone to being out of position.

His power seems to have improved as well, he was looking a bit feather fisted in his early pro fights. He used to punch with just his upper body. He now anchors himself and gets his legs into his shots which is why he's rattled off 9 consecutive KO's.

I think at the very least he'll be competitive, this is a step up in class for both fighters, though it's a bigger jump for Eubank Jr.

Good post and agree with Eubank improving massively especially in 2014.

I honestly didn't think much of him in his first few fights and didn't think he'd get to British level let alone World level but the massive improvement i've seen in him lately has convinced me otherwise and now i think he's the Real Deal and could well become a World Champion even as early as 2015.

Yes his early fights were underwhelming. He's always had ability but it looked like he was going to be another talented young British fighter who would not develop sufficiently as a pro due to not having the right trainers.

I think being matched so hard so early has benefited him, he's abandoned that reckless style he had early on and doesn't try and force a KO like he did.

He still needs to improve though. I don't think he has a great jab, his right, he still loops a little, it needs to be straighter. He also hasn't shown me if he can clinch effectively, it's all good and well being elusive but at some point he may find himself with an opponent that will be all over him.

Eubank Jr is fighting Omar Siala on Saturday. Will that help get him ready for BJS?
I never heard of the guy.

Glad CEJ has backed his mouth if the fight goes ahead.

It might come down to who wants it more. If it goes the distance I'm leaning towards BJS and CEJ for a stoppage.

I think this fight will be more like the Groves/Degale fight. I hope the decision will be based on boxing and not who is perceived as the most arrogant.

    Blowjob wins it.

Eubank has been feasting on bums whereas Blowjob has fought good opposition.

Eubank sparks the pikey out back to his trailer trash.
