I know mate. I agree deep down. Just can’t stand Eubank and hate the fact he’s ended his career on that note against him.

Duke Mackenzie has just called Eubank world class. Is he right!? Shouldn’t there still be ??? after how bad Degale was. He needs to beat someone who isn’t shot or a bum before you can call him anywahere near world class surely.

 

Here we go... Degale threw a jab then held, every single round.

 

Good performance by eubank tbf. not sure he's got all that better....more that groves footwork/distance and jab beat him. Groves pretty much saying that right now. Think the eubank of the groves fight would have got degale out of there. Although the new coach took a lot of plaudits tonight....not sure his corner advice was all that good. Degale of the past would have struggled with eubanks relentlesses. groves just a bad style for eubank. Eubank just a bad style for degale. it is a slightly shopworn degale but degales always slowed down in rounds. Urbano with the groves tactics would have stopped tonights degale for me.

Eubanks a decent fighter. His natural abilitys not great....but hes made himself pretty good by sheer hard work. Fair play to him. never been a big fan of degale tbh...even in defeat he's still a sour guy....but take my hat off to him....he's a tough man. Don't well to keep himself in there tonight. deserves respect for that. should stay in the game just drop the level. Go on a run and try and adjust to get one or two good wins. Too young to retire. He's not shot....he's just struggling to keep up with a younger man. But eubanks a hard style for older guys.

I called it weeks ago that Eubank would win but I didn't think he would win like that. He boxed intelligently probably for the first time in his career. Hope he gets the Plant fight and becomes world champ. Well done Chris!

Nothing would give me more pleasure than watching young Christopher beat up the animal abusing bully that is Billy Joe Saunders.

 

Well, I called that totally wrong. I hold my hands up.

Degale looked absolutely shot. Poor balance, single shots and falling in, our muscled on the clinch. Eubank was actually the counter puncher and put it on Degale in well timed bursts. Well deserved winner.

I’m gutted Degale has sold himself out like that. Wished he’d retired earlier rather than putting in a performance like that. Didn’t hurt Junior once.

Well done to Eubank.

 

Why all the hate for eubank? He's not the most talented boxer in the world but he has the heart of a lion.

I admire his tenacity in the ring, he did well tonight looked a bit more measured than in the past. He will never beat the top guys at middle or super but he's a good solid test for anyone.

 

The slight issue I have is that by being so poor he made CEJ look particularly good.

BJS wouldn't let him get anywhere near him... for the second time

 

Smith would stop stop him Within 5. There’s so much hate because he’s a dick head that’s why. If he was a humble, nice man he’d have a lot more respect. Reap what you sew. Plus he’s not fooling people with his only decent win who was shot to pieces sadly.

 

Yeh I'm not saying he's the best and Smith is way too big but he's a good fighter with a lot of heart.

I like him to be honest doesn't seem a dickhead to me, cocky and arrogant maybe but not a bad thing for a boxer.

Think he did well tonight, Degale is passed it but that's not his fault...deserves some credit.
