Maybe so - maybe I dreamed about the 14 years I i've trained on and off in this sport. Maybe I didn't really train alongside an eventual british olympic gold medalist and a number of former olympic hopefuls, maybe I never really sparred against southern area champions, london ABA champions or a former professional European feather weight champion and another bamtamweight intercontinental champion.

Yeah your probably right mate, loooooool.

I have a feeling we MAY see a premature stoppage during one of Eubanks big flurries with Degale looking troubled but not ready to go.. Similar to JC v Manfredo Jnr... Controversy.. Rematch.

At the top level yeah, but CEJ isn't top level.

    52% eubank
    43% Degale
    5% draw

That’s why I’m looking forward to it now. Shouldn’t be PPV but on paper it’s one of the most evenly matched fights we’re gona get this year.

Eubank UD or maybe late stoppage. Degale is shot and he will get outworked and broken down.

There is no coming back from going life and death twice vs Traux. His finished.

Not sure on ticket sales but just looking on AXS and there seems to be an awful lot of blocks unsold. Were these really expensive?

I know Degale has never been a draw here but I thought a domestic dust up with Eubank would of done ok at the O2.

Even if the bet was if the sun was gonna rise in the east tomorrow morning i’d be too cowardly to stick a decent amount of wedge on it :)

He's better than Truax. Look if Degale was anywhere near his best, he'd do him, no problem. I just think he is way shot and even at his best he slacks off in fights. Groves and BJS
Look if Degale was anywhere near his best, he'd do him, no problem. I just think he is way shot and even at his best he slacks off in fights. Groves was on his game for the whole fight and BJS just scraped by CEJ. I would prefer to see Degale win simply because CEJ and his old man are a couple of deluded gits but for once in a high profile domestic fight these two will come out smelling like roses!

Junior would wreck Truax, I agree mate. When you consider the context of them fights, I think Degale rushed back way too soon for that first fight and he is one of those lads who sometimes can’t get the best out of himself when the opponent is inferior. I agree with you that Degale is done at the top level, apart from an easy vacant title challenge, he can no longer mix it with the top lads.

Degale does not want a Eubank loss on his CV. It would be an awful blemish in terms of ego. He hates Junior and this dislike has brewed for years. So you will see a totally committed, motivated Degale on Saturday night. I like Junior (and his mad old man) but he’s there to be picked off, he hasn’t got a decent jab, he leaves himself wide open and off-balance when he throws a big overhand right or even a lead left hook due to being so flat footed. I just believe Degale has got enough left to punish those flaws and has the size advantage to tie Junior up on the inside. Junior is very strong and tenacious, he must be a nightmare to fight, but once again these are big lads and that athleticism is negated by the 14ib+ weight advantage Degale will carry into the fight.

Yeah it would look bad on his CV. You make good points mate, hopefully Degale is refreshed and puts on a show!

It’s not a bad shout. I anticipate it to be close. Similar to the BJS Eubank fight. Degale’s class will show in the first few rounds but then Eubanks fitness should take over. Depends how well Degale starts and how many rounds he takes off in the middle.

I think Degale is done, in terms of top level.
Jr might not be the total package but, it's fighting, not chess.
Sure Degale may put on a 1-8 round schooling but when Jr catches up in the champ rounds, it won't be pretty.
    CEJ by clinical KO.
