Chris Eubank jr vs Liam Smith prediction thread

Beefy is better at boxing. Not going to throw a lot of money on him but he/him would win this

 

Eubank is limited but the attributes he has, he has in abundance. Good chin, good mentality, fantastic engine and is very tough. Those attributes should see off Smith, if he uses them.

If he tries to stay on the outside and get clever he will find himself behind on the cards

 

Beefy on points. Too experienced and been in with better opposition.

 

Liam is a stupid name. Sounds like a disease as in "I've contracted Liam on my legs".
Or something to eat as in "We're having Liam with onions and peas tonight", a kind of freshwater
fish.

 

Eubank can't box to save his life. Groves exposed him very badly. And Korobov would have beaten him easily too without the injury. But Liam Smith isn't as good as those two in pure boxing and looked pretty bad in some of his last fights. Eubank Jr will be the much bigger guy in the ring. I think Eubanks might rehydrate to ~ 175 pounds and could easily fight at 168 while Beefy is a natural 154er. It'll be interesting to see Beefy reacting to Eubanks explosive power and potential body shots. I favor Eubanks but it depends on how he approaches the fight and how much he uses his tools. If he makes it rough and dirty and tries to FIGHT Smith i expect Eubanks to win either by decision or by TKO. If he tries to box and fight from range it'll be close and i can see him losing. But this is a set up fight for Eubank without a doubt.

But ill be supporting the Salt and Peppa Papi that's for sure.
