I see where you're getting at but you're essentially going off 1 fight from 5 years ago. Anyhow decisions in boxing have split opinions amongst fans and stirred up controversy for a while now. Even though I couldn't ever see how Ryder could beat Jacobs....he did? A guy who many thought beat Canelo.
Eubanks wind up that he will only have to be 50% fit has frazzled the Smith family. Best thing about it is that they say they ain't rattled but the whole family has been doing interviews going on about it Such a simple and effective wind up. So much better than fury and his dosser nonsense.

Expect Eubank to start well and build up a good lead. He should be able to see out a points win if he doesn’t start to act like a total idiot and coast the 2nd half of the fight like he likes to do.
I don’t think they are wound up. They are being asked about it, they’re not chasing people asking if they can speak about the 50% claim. They’re asked about it so their gonna comment on it.
I keep forgetting that. Some of the build ups make you think Eubank is early 20s. He doesn't appear to have aged so I get it but like you said there's just one year. I enjoyed watching the Gloves are Off. Eubank is undisputed champ at that. He is good at riling people. I've no idea who will win. I hope Smith does but I like Eubank after how chilled he has been throughout all the Benn saga. He has absolute self belief too. I think Eubank might be too big and fresh for him.
they’ve been trying to make Eubz happen for about ten years now. so many promoters have wasted time and resourses on him. however, he’ll beat Liam Smith on size alone, such is the story of many pointless fights nowadays
I want Liam to win and excited to see how this one pans out but if I had to put money on it I'd have to take Eubank points or late stoppage on cuts Smith can often start slow and I think in the early rounds, especially when Smith has his ear muffs on trudging forward, Eubank could be lighting him up with flurries of shots which will build an early lead and the risk of a Smith cut early doors. Smith though does build into fights and his shot selection is class so he will certainly come into the fight but with an early Eubank lead + being the naturally bigger man, I think he sees the fight through. Both have got that bit of grit and spite about them though which is why there will surely be fireworks when they begin to mix it.
no chance he wins ' comfortably'. Smith is too good for that, you're underrating him and blinded by your fanboyism. Smith is the former world champ here not Eubank Jr. Solid all round, tough as nails fighter who mixes up shots beautifully to the head and body and gets better as the fight goes along And technically on boxing ability Liam Smith is certainly better than Eubank! Even Spencer Fearon the most biased person in uk boxing admitted that lol! if they were the same weight Smith would be the one winning easily. Its the step up in weight that makes this fight closer and interesting. Smith is just as tough as Jr, and has almost as good a chin. This is gonna be a cracking fight.
