Murray fought much higher level of opponents, ducked nobody, fought away from home, fought as underdog and would have been a genuine World Champion if the Martinez fight was in the UK. Charlatan Eubank Jnr has mades piles of loot but his career has been a farce for a person with his surname and his constant talk of collecting belts and fighting elite fighters. GGG and Canelo must be grateful the day CEJ lost his pen and his bottle. Murray on points and wide.
Murray stops him. Look at the man's resume. Lets be honest he beat Martinez and got jerked on the scorecards. I like Eubank Jnr but he wouldn't get anywhere near beating Martinez.
Prime Eubank (feel ashamed even writing those words as god knows when that was) was a tough man as well. I do agree though. I think Murray wins a lopsided decision.
I don’t think Murray would allow him to only fight 30 seconds to a minute of the round and he’s a good size. Murray points I’d say.
I think some are overrating Murray here, Martinez was never the same after the Chavez Jr fight. A tough competitor no doubt who always gave a great account of himself but his best wins are probably at a lower level to Eubanks best. Eubank v Murray is a great fight, no quit in either during their prime but I also think Murray is too slick and crafty to let Eubank get the better of him. Murray points for me.
Sergio Martinez was p4p top 3 at the time after Floyd and Pac, and in the form of his career, There's always an excuse afterwards!
