I dont rate him as highly as say our other leading middles such as Billy Joe, Murray, Barker Macklin. While he looks pretty good right now, I do think a classier operator will have him out of there.
He said he was out in september and hes british level at best hes never going to get world honours in the talent rich middleweight division. Hopefully one day he and chunky will box would love to see that after the sparring tales.
He's ****. He'll never get anywhere and should retire now. He has no good attributes to speak of and still hasn't learned not to throw his ridiculous uppercut.
He has skill and will definately be a good domestic level fighter... but i'm afraid to say he won't be world level. Doesn't seem to have any power in his punches, but i do feel for him in a way, can't be easy being the son of a british legend. Will always get compared to his father and get harsher feedback
I feel more sorry for the elite amateurs who actaully done something but have got no media attention. People forget that eubank sr went out in the first round of the novices and lost to luke bastone in the amateurs.
in fariness Henassy was doing a good job with him at the start but ch5 dont seem as keen on boxing as they where.
He's British level at best. It's a shame he's getting much more media attention and hype than genuinely talented boxers with more potential or, in fact, much more media attention than one of our current world champions in Jamie McDonnell.
dont punch hard...gets lotta gift stoppages & a gift decision or 2 to pad his record like the mayweathers & elerbie say... "he aint ****!"
I do think he is British level at best BUT what I will say, is that for someone with as little amateur experience.. he has been matched quite tough, so credit to him in that respect. He needs to sit down on his punches more, because he seem's to lack pop. His old man will look to make sure that he get's something out of each fight that will improve him as a fighter. But at the minute, he isn't anywhere near ready for the likes of BJS.
