Totally agree Slip. When i was younger i used to shadow box like him cos he was my hero back in day. Looking back some of stuff he does is so unconventional but some of his quirky ideas actually work but there's some things he did which i think he just did for ring showmanship. He liked to put across a sense of control over the other fighter and judges like he was in supreme control of proceedings.
You can briefly see what i mean from this clip. From 0:40. Look at the way Eubank is throwing those punches...very little motion wasted and snappy. One of his secrets was he had his guard very close. From 2:00 mins on this one: 'Sharp jab with no pull back' [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JjFNf_DAlw[/ame]

I'm surprised Eubank didn't mention the importance of activity in development. He was pretty big on that and fought at least 4 times a year in his prime and sometimes more. In fact there was a year where he fought close to 10 times, which is unheard of today. Fighters shouldn't have any problem fighting 4 times a year. 2 months off is more then enough IMO. It's no coincidence that fighters improve, develop and are more successful in the years they're more active. This is the reason fighters back in the day where able to creat ATG legacies in relatively short periods of time because they fought more often. You can still have those tune up fights, you don't have to face a killer everytime, but just stay busy. That concept has been lost.
He's been on a few times this one was a while ago. He mentioned bringing out a video/dvd. I try have a look mate..dunno how far we get. Might be best to e-mail the team. Edit:I got a feeling by looks of dates and stuff it was back in 05.
