Eubank (First Benn Fight) Vs Hagler,in his last fight? Has Eubank any chance at All against The marvellous one here? Personally I see Hagler getting him self a decision,in a fight where Eubank shows his grit and moments where he actually rocks Marvin briefly at times.
...fighter lots, but I see his sporadic work rate being his undoing. And he can't really hurt Hagler either. Hagler grinds out a decision win.
Quite a thought provoking one,Fergy. I see Marvin outworking Chris, who would be landing pretty good counters but taking some hellish punishment on the way to dropping a fairly wide UD. Marvin respects Eubank's guts and toughness after the bout.
Same opinion here. Against prime Hagler there is almost zero chance Eubank makes it to the final bell. But versus the subpar, lumbering, dubitative Hagler who fought SRL?; Eubank makes it to the final bell, beaten but not downed.
Make him weigh in on the same day and fight there would be a death in the ring… Eubanks only advantage is he is a natural 180-190lber.
Love Eubank but even a faded Hagler is a different level then a Eubank. I think Hagler puts a beating on Eubank.
Even 87 Hagler wins by a commanding margin. Eubank ain't Leonard. He didn't have Ray's speed, didn't have Ray's skill, didn't have Ray's stamina, and damn sure didn't have Ray's ring IQ.
