    Collins couldn't budge Eubank, and lost that first fight. Second Eubank-Collins fight showed an even wilder style from Collins than a young Dempsey or a young Benn, totally threw Eubank off.

    considering 500,000,000+ watched Eubanks fights, I'd say that's of relevance. As for the 'HOF', it's very US-based rather than a worldwide thing.

    those are the figures dude. Eubank was a worldwide household name outside of the US, bigger than boxing; no US fighter since Tyson has been a household name even in their hometown.

    You say no one had heard of eubank and benn in the states well outside the states no one had heard of jones or toney etc

    :lol: yeah I'm sure no one knew who Jones and Toney were especially Jones suffering the biggest robbery in Olympic history ..I'm sure no one outside of the U.S. Didn't know who he was :patsch

    but surely everyone had heard of calzaghe for him being robbed in 1990 by Smyth and Opreda in ABA championships. "Robbed"? my mistake, I mean "soundly beaten the shyte out of by". And "completely unheard of"

    in fact joe calzaghe was not heard of until some 19 years after that event, when he plucked up the courage to try to unify against an injured opponent.
