Poor balance, struggles with counterpunchers. Stop the revisionist history folks!!

Never a dull moment with chris and he is always very very insightful.
Going and learning your trade in the states is a great waY to get top top experience and learning. Places like phily always have tough good fighters then u have all the tough mexicans and yanks from **** holes brought up fighting in the streets just to survive. A lot of our fighters could really benefit from going to the states for a few years early on

Chris had poor balance when forced to reach against a moving target. But when going backwards and sideways his movement and balance was exquisite.

People who say Eubank couldn't 'cut off the ring' or 'close the gap' confuse me

He'd cut the ring while stepping into a stiff jab in one motion and close the gap while slipping inside a jab to counter in one motion

When he missed a right hand he looked awkward the way he'd duck and dip with his glove protecting from a hook but it was no doubt effective defense, then he'd move laterally, change angle and try again ....

Eubank was a brilliant bobber and weaver - watch the Rocchigiani fight, and in Round Three against Calzaghe he bobs and weaves to completely evade a lightning Calzaghe flurry of straights at one point!

It takes a different type of bad ass to do this game. That is why I love it.
