I think Griffin has a troubling awkward style where he could outhustle Eubank. This fight would also be taking place at Light Heavyweight which Griffin is more proven at. Griffin by decision.
Griffin gave Jones a tough fight at 175 despite getting blasted out in the rematch, Eubank was unproven at 175.
I have no doubt Eubank would be able to carry the weight well at 175lbs, he was still shredded at 190lbs, you can just tell he had naturally low myostatin. I think the absolute best of Eubank, who was elite, would be able to take a competitive decision against Griffin, people would probably pick Eubank sized up, and the difference is that I actually think these 2 are a similar size because Eubank able to put on size and fill out whatever weight he moved up to.
Eubank still carried enough power to floor Carl Thompson up @ 190. While I think the most likely outcome would be a dec win for Griff, I wouldn't entirely rule out a Eubank KO.
Thompson was an all action brawler, leaving himself wide open to counter, he got hit with a lot of shots by Eubank who would find Griffin a lot harder to hit, Griffin was a cagey counter puncher like Eubank, it would be a cagey fight just like the first Griffin-Jones fight.
Griffin's chin was always a liability though. Even if you excuse all the times Jones wobbled or dropped him over their 2 fights, Toney had him reeling all over the ring from a single well placed shot in their 1st fight, & Dariusz had him out on his feet from a single chopping right hand.
Griffin beats him. Eubank Was never really happy against guy's that moved a little, he preferred them to come to him. But Griffin could be Hurt, Chris might get lucky on his Chin.
Eubank was a massive puncher and he carried his power up well. He was a sensational finisher in his prime, it was only after his tragic fight with Michael Watson that he became more gun-shy. Even Eubank holding back would probably have enough pop to wobble Montell's chin.
Eubank stopped Benn before the second Watson fight, but it was only a TKO, other than Benn Eubank hadn`t stopped any top names up to that point, he had been padding his record on the way up, his KO ratio in world title fights is very poor and Griffin was better than any fighte Eubank stopped aside from Benn, Eubank wa mainly a counter puncher who wasn`t comfortable on the front foot.
