The nearest opponent on Duran's side is probably Benitez. With Eubanks being way stronger, bigger, harder hitting, better chin and probably as quick. Not a good match up for Duran. Especially with Eubank being prime at Duran being blown up at the weight
Duran done 15 fairly competitive rounds with arguably the greatest middleweight of all time. Eubank has never beaten anyone close to Duran's calibre, even the 160 version. He doesn't have the power to hurt Duran at 160. He finessed his way to a title shot because of his surname and avoided all elite-level fighters of his era. Highlights include being flattened by Liam Smith, outboxed by an injured George Groves, and losing at the Euro level to Saunders. I don't see any argument that convinces me Eubank is even on the same level or that this fight is remotely competitive, GOAT tier ring IQ vs a guy who has dog**** fundamentals.
