Bud, There was only two available and Hop pulled out and as for Jones, well, DM couldnt get him, what chance was there for a WBO titlest.

Whats the odds for Inkin getting Calzaghe in the ring?

  2. Just don't agree with that assertion. You really think that a man can be a great counter puncher without moving his feet at all? You have to be able to subtly adjust and move yourself to deliver. It is a combination of your legs, body, and agility. Unless you have abnormal or inhuman length arms you can be certain that James is moving his feet even if you don't perceive that he is. James shuffles those feet fine and repositions himself as needed to optimize his delivery to counter punch and counter punch with power. Add to that his elite timing and skill and he has all that would be needed for Joe.

Sorry man but god himself couldnt convince me Toney has good foot work. Not possible.

If you go for James in a Calzaghe-Toney fight then fair do's, I like them both, I'm not gonna waste time arguing.:good

Who did you go for in the thread starter's question?. If youve answered it before ignore me.

  4. It was a tough one. I took GM (by decision in my mind). But, I think that if not for Benn (obviously) GM's chances would increase progressively as he was younger and still filling out. I think GM could have been the man at 168 from '97 on. Take it easy, man.

Eubank never went in with anyone really good except against Nigel Benn and Micheal Watson. He bored us with his safe and sometimes dodgy defenses, years of them.He ran off from Gerald when he became his mandatory at middleweight as McClellan would`ve beaten him imo.

I think it was Eubank who knocked Collins down in the 11th

Boxrec doesn't tell you that, hence the kd being pointed out.

McCllenan has got to get Eubank out of there early

A very difficult thing to do when Eubank was such a tough durable Super Middleweight

Eubanks only stoppage loss was up at Cruiserweight to Carl Thompson at the end of his career when his eye was so badly swollen they decided to call it off at the 9th round

McCllenan was a frecious puncher.........and he could hurt and floor Eubank........of course its possible he could KO him

But to KO Eubank would be very tough thing to achieve......even for a banger like Gerald

If the fight drags on.......Eubank is far more proven in a long slog of a fight and I think he would take over

I'm sorry, but I just fail to understand how people think Eubank was on McClellan's level. He's so overrated it's ridiculous.
