A step in the right direction (just) but as you said we'd like to see better than this. Hes clearly beyond this level.
Fair play to Jez for stepping up unlike some of the other domestic top 10 fighters. This should be a good test for young Christopher as Wilson is top 15. Young Christopher will go out to stop Jez quicker than John Ryder and make a statement.
If it actually happens. Just read something about it online. I'd like to see him fight Kerry hope or nick Blackwell Just needs to fight a couple of decent British middleweights before going for the British title But to be honest I wouldn't be surprised of he avoids the British title and goes another route
Kerry Hope was offered the fight before and he wanted too much money apparently. Hopefully Jez Wilson will step up though because he's a decent fighter. I think Christopher will go down the British route, but at the end of the day they'll go down the route that's best for him.
Id like to see him in with a decent American now. His Dad has been talking about Saunders,and much beyond. But the standard of opponents doesn't anywhere near match the talk.
just shows that they really arent serious about the Billy Joe Saunders fight after all this they book a fight with someone who has just been beaten by someone Billy Joe recently beat.

Well, so much for his bragadocious claims that he'd fight the top 4 British middles in 4 months! This is a little underwhelming TBH, competitive though..... Wake me up when he makes good on his claims and starts seriously making a tilt at belts both domestic and continental.
