Supposing these two had got it on for a third time six months after their Old Trafford rematch? They go for broke just like before. Both men have a case for winning - Benn's aggressive ferocity and Eubank's edge on skill and,in my opinion, raw physical strength being the naturally bigger man. He would manhandle Benn in the clinches more in an attempt to wear his opponent down. Benn would hope to offset this with his power punching and aggression. Would Nigel finally score a victory over Chris? Would Chris make it 2 - 0 - 1 over Nigel?
Often wondered about this one, Stevie. I'd hoped they would have clashed again. I think Nigel could have got this one, think he had a little more left in him. A decision probably, still close though.
And this is the thing - as much as I liked Benn back then, if I had to bet on any of the two to turn it around in the dying minutes and get the other guy out of there, my money's on the bigger, superior chinned Chris. Despite Benn having that ferocity, I feel like Chris was more warrior, had a deeper pool to draw from and despite the change in his approach post Watson II, there was still a proud, proud warrior there that was ready to throw hands and go out on his shield if need be.
