160lb is the key. Eubank was a terrific puncher at this weight. I'll never forget him nailing that guy about 2 sec into the fight before the cameras had been set. He was also a terrific mover with a cast-iron (and very overlooked) chin. It doesn't work out well for Iran. First he had to catch Chris who is quick and tricky and when he doesn he doesn't have the arseal to hurt him. Late stoppage win for Eubank
I'd actually give Barkley a chance if he fought like he did against Nunn and Duran, he proved he could really box in those fights depite losing both obviously. Otherwise Eubank mid to late TKO.
That's a little strange considering all the people you say Eubank would beat now here's a guy who was 95% of the time perfect for Eubank style wise yet you think he would loose?:?
Barkley gets busted up and stopped. He'd be walking into punches and his skin will either swell up or cut. That Eubank chin takes anything Iran throws even if it lands. I think Chris uses his mobility and great boxing radar and fights from angles while Iran is on his railroad tracks throwing looping wide punches. One guy lands and the other guy's miss or get deflected. Not as bad as the Toney or Maske fights, but this is the wrong guy for Iran to come out with a W against, and I think is a lopsided loss.
Well, Benn was slightly smaller and shorter than Eubank and he beat barkley inside one round although he used dirty tactics along the way.
Eubank had great skills but he couldn't avoid a fight bring close and competitive. Even when nigh on shut out by calzaghe, every round was close. this fight gets a close decision arguable either way but I think ultimately Eubank should be favoured as he has pretty much every advantage.
