Chris Eubank vs Liam Williams is set for December 11th

Should be a barnburner this. I see a lot of casuals are writing The Machine off for some strange reason but he specializes in cracking chins that don't get cracked and he's the much better technician and boxer here and he's not only capable of outboxing CEJ but of stopping him too. Yeah I said it. Not saying he will stop him but he is capable of doing so and I won't be at all surprised if he hurts or drops him. I only really see him losing if he gets clipped himself which is obviously a possibility or tiring down the stretch and succumbing to CEJ's workrate.

Boo Boo Andrade is a nightmare for anyone with that horribly awkward style of his and he would've absolutely toyed with CEJ who can't box. I voiced my concern beforehand about Williams underestimating and not respecting Andrade's power and I think that early KD he suffered as a consequence of that was huge because he lost his composure and became ragged after getting off to that terrible start and it played right into Andrade's hands, especially with him being the away fighter and the ref batting against him adding to his frustration.

Tough and very fit but he can't box and is easy to hit. Williams is a much better technician with serious power

'Carslaw’s manager, Tommy Gilmour was quick to defend his fighter after describing Williams as a “beast of a man” and a potential future world champion.

Such is 23-year-old Williams’ punching power that Carslaw could not even recall details of his early stoppage and he was ultimately forced to watch a recording of the bout on You Tube to familiarise himself with what had happened.

But he confessed: “I could not remember the second round. I thought I had recovered from my first round knock-down after taking the eight count but obviously I had not.

“I’m just glad that I’m alright because Williams is a bit special. I have been in against a few good ones like Michel Soro for the European title, but none of them could punch like this guy.


He added: “It was always going to be a tough battle, but Williams is exceptional to the extent that I would not be at all surprised if he goes on to become a world champion.


“It’s also a measure of Williams’ power that Kris could not recall clearly what happened in the second round. He gave it his best shot, but I knew I was watching a touch of class; someone special who was just too good for him.”
