I will likely be in the minority, but I would lean towards Eubank in a very close and likely slow paced match that the masses would call a let down boring type of fight. It might be a thing of artistry, but likely would not produce a ton of sparks.
If Eubank could only manage a draw and a SD with a fighter like Ray Close then why would he be able to beat a class operator like Nunn?
Eubank had not fought at MW in 2 years when he fought Close and that fight took place at 168??? What does that have to do with anything? Michael Nunn if he can't manage to beat Steve Little and Frankie liles how is he going to be Eubank??? Neither applies, pick who you like but please apply different logic!
Nunn was past his best when he lost to both Steve Little and Frankie liles, and they are both former champions wheras Close was euro level at best.
Nunn takes a snorefest. Both very good fighters but the styles would n't make for good entertainment.
Chris would Hate Nunns Style, Chris much preferred someone coming to him, he often lunged off balance when trying to catch "Retreaters" - as much as i distrust Nunns Chin, i think the Nunn who beat Frank Tate beats Chris, i think there would be a lot of Dead Time Posing. a Smirking Contest may break out so may need a strong ref to keep the action going.
