I wasn't even comparing Jones and Eubank tho. i wasn't saying Jones was better than Eubank from beating Malinga and Thornton. atberry was saying **** like Jones had more problems with Malinga and Tony's defense than Eubank did and he had to resort to feints and **** like that.

All i said was that Jones KO'ed both and Eubank went the distance with them and the fights were a lot closer than the Jones fights as Jones pretty much won every round against those fighters.

 

Eubank for six rounds against Malinga and three rounds against Thornton landed more than Jones did while extremely slippery. Jones' aggessive, leaping power was very impressive, though.

Jones fought Malinga only a year after Eubank/Benn (he was robbed against BEnn). So he was still around his best when Jones dismantled him, he went on to beat Benn after. Thornton was past prime against Jones granted

Eubank was pretty much prime for Malinga and Thornton

i never claimed , meant , implied , thought or relied on that Malinga was prime vs Eubanks or vs Benn . Malinga was 38 years by d time he fought Jones . How come Thornton wasn't ? Malinga outpointed Benn (but I guess that undeservedly) a year after he got KOd by Jones , but Benn was far from below d quality that ppl here consider him 2b . Benn may b 1 of d few who were even slightly less proven that Jones was . Malinga was 14 years older than Jones .
I believe that if i'll ever do n average age difference per fight 4 each fighter , Jones will b a top 10 among elderly beaters .
That , and top 10 commercial success per talent r d only top 10 all time lists that i can think of @ d moment that Jones makes .
