Henry was a club fighter before he fought Diaconu and has returned to his roots of fighting nobodies in the middle of nowhere.
Chris Henry is a top 10 fighter. He is tough and strong, he has a hard punch, a very good chin and lots of heart. His technique will improve and he will give anyone in the division a tough fight. He's a clubfighter and a bum because he gave Diaconu fits, but if he ever got to fight Dawson and laid him flat on his arse, he'd suddenly become a Top 20 p4p fighter...:yep ...isn't that so, D'ohsonites?:smooch
Henry gave a very good account of himself against Diaconu, a world-class fighter, and did so in Diaconu's home country. That eliminates Henry from the clubfighter category.
No if you recall I was calling him a clubfighter the very second that you started the post asking if anyone knew about him...Henry isnt very good, and for me him going to the end with Diaconu proves that Diaconu is over rated and not that henry is underrated, it seems that that is the option that we are over looking here. I have seen henry fight live and he is a midwest fighter, he isnt that good and he has feasted on clubfighter level guys..And the fact that he had a life and death fight with a 16-10 Rayco Saunders, makes him a clubfighter, going the distance and REALLY closely beatting another unproven fighter doesnt make him an elite fighter. This is shades of Leeonzer Barber all over again.....When Euro fans were tring to convince US that Barber was some great fighter, when he was a clubfighter.
Yeah and Dawson is a clubfighter himself,he got KDed by Shannon Miller.Please....Henery proved himself a good fighter and is a the no 9 LHW in the world now
