Man, I wish John had been a more ambitious boxer. I feel like maybe he could have accomplished more P4P. He still can...

    I would consider JM Marquez a classic Counter-Puncher, not a Puncher/brawler....

Marquez likes to brawl and punch a lot. He counters, but every time he gets in there he's certainly down for some fisticuffs.

Won't happen not worth the Money, Chris John would beat him right now............The problems is that Gamboa, JuanMa, Caballero all have potential of being great bouts but everybody seems to have a menstruating vagina. Nobody wants to actually have to work in the division. Chris John is already proven and tested. Juanma would get is ass handed to him by Gamboa thats why he is dodging this bout. Juama brings in enough money to get anybody in the division he wants. So if he is not fighting Caballero, John (who he should be fighting) or Gamboa its because he is a tool, he is probably just waiting for John to retire so he can claim division supremacy.

when i asked pelenchin about john he laughed. said no way, no how. not because he wouldnt do it, but because john has a crazy management team that had no interest in really fighting anyone

i am beginning to think you are stalking me.

caballero will fight anyone. that being said, this fight is not one he is targeting. so it isnt like it is "john's" fault this isnt happening. it is nobodies. caballero just made the comment he has bizarre management which i think has been stated multiple times in here.

chris john is not really on his radar at this moment. if something came up he would pursue it.

you really should get a hobby

Some feel Caballero is being duck, but I feel Chris John is perhaps the fighter which most fighters at this time would not like to face. I know if Chris was offer the 250k with any of these big names, he would have agreed:D

It makes sense. John hasn't had a real fight in a long long time now. That's part of the reason why he still has his 0.

A FW marquez early in his career was a classic safety-first counter puncher but he turned into a boxer-puncher as his reflex slowed through age.. Starting with Jandaeng fight, Marquez changed up his style, more willing to trade in the pocket.

    BUt yea, he was never a puncher/brawler.. He's a boxer-puncher.
