    Enoki was considered a legit threat to beat John at the time. Rojas wasn't bad, either.
    Joe Calzaghe waited till defense number 18 to unify. Just saying.

    No, there are tons of long-reigning titlists that haven't. Actually, most of the long reigning ones from good to great didn't, that I can think of.

    Yeah, John doesnt get quite the credit he deserves imo, agree with boxed Ears.

    And to be fair, John's next oppnent did beat a man who outpointed Poonsawat, and poonsawat is a quality operator.
