"During his preparation for his title defense against #15 challenger Fernando David Saucedo, WBA super champion Chris John suffered a shoulder injury during a sparring session earlier of this week. John vs. Sausedo, originally on June 22 in Bali Island, is postponed until the end of July, but the date is not yet confirmed. According to this writer’s source, John sparred with lightweight sparmate William Kickett, but his arm was twisted in Kickett’s armpit like in the Tyson-Botha fight, plus the champion was accidentally pushed until he fell down on the canvas with his arm sill twisted in Kickett’s armpit, making the injury even worse. Chris John ned eds a 2 week rest he will be back in the ring 24th july and then again in november he recieved a slight injury sparring willy when they both wrestled each other to the ground .
