Who ya got? I personally only have seen clips of John along with the JMM fight ... I've seen plenty of Juarez but i'm wondering who wins.
Chris John by wide UD Juarez cannot pull the trigger and when he does John wont be infront of him like Barrios was all night long.
No one interested in this fight? I am ... I would like to see the guy to beat JMM in action on the same card ... and depending on the impression he makes ... he may move up in weight ... challenge a well known fighter. Maybe Vasquez ... Caballero ... Linares ... Guerrero ...
Why is Juarez getting a great fight like this after all those losses. John takes him to school worse than MAB did
Bad style matchup for Juarez. As long as John keeps his workrate up in front of the partial Houston crowd, he should get by relatively comfortably.
This is a coming out party for Dragon John. Juarez is just a frustrating fighter who can't pull the trigger. He has all the tools to become bigtime but he doesn't have the mindset. John will decision him easily.
John is a wildcard but he's really a great fighter. Anyone who puts up a fight like that against Marquez has to be special. Dragon John is coming
John has fought exclusively on his soil benefiting greatly from the threat of hometown cooking hanging every time like Damocles' sword on his opponents' minds. I highly doubt he'll escape even with his clothes when he's judged solely on his own merits.
No he has not...He has fought once in Australia and had another fight scheduled there but it was canned because the main event was canceled. He has fought several times in Japan and has expressed a desire to fight in the U.S for quite some time now. He has one very poor decision go his way at home and another that was apparently quite close..other then that he has beaten everyone put in front of him, usually quite comfortably.
Finally John makes his debut on US soil. A lot of asian fighters seem to go to Japan for fights since that's where the money is so its not surprising that most here don't see them. It was the case for Filipino fighters too (with a few exceptions like Espinosa and Penalosa who fought in the states before fighting Tokuyama) before Pac opened the gates for them. I'd love for John to do really well so we may get more fighters from the area trying their luck here. We need more variety in the game and having more fighters from the asian scene can only make it better
Exactly, hopefully Rocky will be rejuvenated @126 and throw more bombs...I'll go out on a limb with Juarez
