I really don't rate john , he's a canny little fighter quite slick but iu think gamboa is to fast to strong and quick and takes his WBA super ultro title or whatever you call it off him.

also just read an interview with john's trainer saying he's in great shape etc.... & there willing to fight anyone except billy dib ! surley irony since his trainers a fellow aussie and billy dib ****ing stinks !

Ive got Gamboa , and id be leaning towards a stoppage too ......... but who knows , John is durable , highly skilled and is a seasoned world champion , i really like this fight , but based on the way John sometimes deals with pressure come forward fighters i like Gamboa !!!

Chris John has no chance at all.

ummm yeah... basically mini-mike tyson's gonna roll his ass like he rolled over Trevor Berbick! I think he'll go either 2 routes -
    1) gamble and apply aggressive pressure and try to overwelm John in 3 rounds
    2) outbox and break down John overtime, like he did to Rojas

i REALLY prefer the first route, though not as safe, but i think he can pull it off with a 75% chance success rate. If he does, he'll make his weightclass **** their pants and validates him in being the Dominant One, the BOSS

I can't pick against John until he's been beaten.

I realize that he can lose it's just that the guy hasn't and continues to win. That alone and knowing how good he is would make me pick him over Gamboa at this point.

but who is he winning against.. is not like he's beating world beaters and until now he hasnt faced anybody close to the level of chris john.. i'm not saying he'll lose but just because he has looked great and keeps winning against B and C level opposition doesnt mean he'll beat anybody easily

Could be a passing of the guard..
A fight I'd defo like to watch happen alot sooner than later.
    (Based on John's "Ring" age)

Would rather watch Gamboa Vs. John than Vs. Juanma...
(Especially after Abe KO's him this weekend)
